I have recorded a video sequence using the new kinect sensor and Kinect Studio v2.0. I currently have no access to the Kinect sensor and I want to play a little with the examples provided in the SDK browser.
I installed the FaceBasics-WPF from the SDK browser and tried to debug it, the main window is opened and I receive the message : Kinect not available.
I am using Windows 8.1, Kinect Studio v2.0, Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows Desktop.
My question is: Is there a way to use the example code without connecting the kinect sensor to the PC? Is there a way to open the .xef files from a folder (in Visual Studio)?
Do you have any ideas.

Playback the recordings through Kinect Studio. There are api's if you wish to go that route, but the steps needs are:
- Launch KStduio
- Open the clip you want to playback, be sure you have recorded the required streams.
- Click the lightning bolt to connect
- Go to Playback tab
- Click play.
