I have 3 different Products called 

1. Competitor Product

2.Primary Match Product

3.Secondary Match Product.

 

I want to create a relationship for product No#  in Primary Match Product,product No#  in  Secondary Match Product with Product No# in Competitor Product.

When ever we enter the product number of Competitor Product we have to display the details of Product in Primary Match Product,Secondary Match Product.

 

Please help me .

there are a couple of different ways to accomplish this. Is the relationship between these products 1 to 1 to 1?

Are the product #s unique?

 

Here is a simple suggestion:

Create a new property for your product definition called "Competitor Product". Now every product would have a reference/relationship with the competitor product #. In this case you would create product A and product B. they both have a "Competitor Product" property with value C.

Now that you have your 2 products, you would then create 2 main categories right below the root (if possible; or alternatively you could also use 2 catalogs, but using categories is simpler. I dont know how extense/large your catalog will be).

1 category called "Primary Matches", and the other "Seconday Matches".

You would then place Product A in "Primary Matches" and Product B in "Secondary Matches".

Now when a competitor product number is entered (say Product C), you would then search in the categories (or catalogs) for those products that have the right value in the "Competitor Product" field.

 

This is a fairly simple approach and i dont know if it fits your need. If you provide more detail about your expected architecture/features then we could be more helpful.
