An internet search shows there are quite a few people who have the favicons messing up on them after they go from IE6 to IE7.

Especially people who set their browser to delete temp files when it closes.

This is something a good software engineer could fix in before the day was out.

That tells me that Microsoft simply doesn't care.

So I deleted IE6, and almost exclusively use Firefox now.

Especially after 2 full downloads of Windows 7 failed on IE but worked the first time on Firefox.

IE is dead.

Long live Firefox.
