Hi, im trying to install office for mac 2011

everytime i start installing it, about half way through this box comes up saying

"you must quit the following program:safari"

even when safari isnt open..and the box doesnt go away it keeps popping up and the installation doesnt continue

and i cant cancel the installation or shut down my computer..i just have to wait for the battery to drain
