I am able to hibernate my WinXPe SP2 and touchscreen application
successfully with a connected USB keyboard that I need only for the hibernate process via EWF/HORM.

If I startup the hibernation file without a connected keyboard, the
system crashes after resuming my application with a blue screen:

Resume path is typically robust enough to tolerate missing hardware as long they were removable devices.  Anyway, can you write a script that when executed will issue hibernate command after a delay. The idea is to unplug the keyboard before hibernation starts by leveraging the delay.
