Hallo everybody,

let me start by thanking anybody who will invest his/her time to read and maybe help on this.

I am using CDO to send emails from Excel. So far it works perfect. But I have now and issue with it.

I am sending messages in a specific format which implies many lines need to start with a dot. This works perfectly on Excel 2010. But when the same excel file is opened in Office 2016, when sending the same emails to the same destinations through the same smtp and pop servers, it doubles all the dots at line start. and this is creating errors as the messages cannot be processes at the delivery end.

Does anybody have an idea of what may be happening and where to look for.

I really appreciate any kind of help.

What role does Visual FoxPro have in what you're doing? If none, then you've asked in the wrong place and should post to an Excel group.
