There is one think I haven't quite understood which may be caused by me not reading the user manual:  A task or a scenario has a Description field and a History field.  The Description field has no formatting, whereas the History field has full formatting.  A silly question: How are the two fields intended to be used.  I would expect that I use the Description field to enter my full Scenario description, but since it doesn't have the ability to display e.g bulleted  lists I cannot use it.

The description field is a plain text field.

If you need to put in bulleted lists etc, you must use a html field, that means: you must modify the work item definition.  Replace the description field with another field based on htmlfield and not plain text, and use a html control, then you get all the rich edit facilities.

记住，不要尝试重新键入description字段，它也是一个系统字段，TFS也不喜欢重复的名称。将该字段命名为其他名称，包括refname和name。那你就没事了！

Remember, dont try to retype the description field, it is a system field too, and TFS dont like duplicate names either. Name the field something else, both refname and name. Then you'll be fine !
