is it somehow possible to rotate the rectangle I get from the Face Tracking SDK dependent on the current head angle? For instance for the Face Tracking example of the Toolkit (C#).

The SDK will not. The rectangle is a bounding region which aligns with the colorframe. If you want to rotate, you will have to create that yourself from the camera frame data and the rotation information of the head.
