I have an Intel Core  i7 3.33Ghz processor with 12GB of installed memory. when I use the encoder it only uses 20 percent of my processor and memory. Is there anyway to make it use more resources to finish the job faster?

Ok found the solution. If I encode from .AVI and .MPEG it will use the full processor and will encoder fast. But other format won't use the full processor and take more time. Even .MP4
