Hi, I am playing Color Basics-D2D in the Kinect SDK v2.0, and it seems that the fps will drop from 30 to 1 every 15 seconds. Then it will go back to 30 again. Every time it drops to 1, the three white lights in the front of the Kinect Sensor will be on, and the red light will be off. When it goes back to 30, the white lights will be off, and the red light will be on. I want to get a free-flowing video now where the fps is supposed to be around 30 all the time. Can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do? Thanks a lot for your help:).

Low light scenarios will drop the framerate to 15fps on the color frames, this is by-design. Dropping to 1fps will be due to the KinectService restarting which can be see by the lights on the sensor turning off/on. You can also launch Task Manager and click the details tab or using Process Monitor from the SysInternal applications. The service will restart when there is delay between when your application is requesting frames and when the runtime responds. The watchdog ensures everything is running at the right framerate and if things are consistently off it will restart.
