I am using Expression Encoder 4 Pro to encode from a TV tuner source. Under Windows XP, I can see both video capture source "7231 BDA Analog capture" and audio capture source "7231 BDA Audio capture". But when I change to Windows 7, the audio source "7231 BDA Audio capture" is missing. I have checked using another software and is able to see "7231 BDA Audio capture" is installed.

I would check the driver for your device and see if you have the newest version. Given that the only difference is the operating system, the driver is the main culperate.
