I'm a new user to Expression Design, had just installed version 3 and upgraded to version 4.  I had been using the Paintbrush in version 3 and had a fairly large selection of types of brushes (both width and shape) that I could use, but I can't find this anymore in version 4, unless I design my own, which I don't want to do.  Can anyone help?

Try a re-install / repair of Design 4.  Here's a link; it refers to older versions, but the process should be the same:
