Right now i am using Kinect usb adapter to collect data from kinect to my computer.  I plan to use Xbee wireless as a bridge to collect data from kinect sensor to computer wirelessly. Is it possible to replace the usb connection with wireless connection? Thanks.

You will have to test this yourself as it is not a function of the device itself. If you are just sending data over wireless, you just need to worry about latency.
