Right after the demise of Windows Mobile, when you guys planned Windows Phone, did you miss the ability to select, edit delete part of the number in dialer? Because we missed it badly...

Microsoft chose to abandon their feature and go Apple's way on this one which doesn't make any sense. This is a usability BUG inherited from iOS which wasn't present in Windows Mobile. Let's say you dialed 843-xxx-xxx no you want to edit it to 833-xxx-xxx, you have to remove all the leading digits after 4 to amend it!

Please don't compromise Windows' user friendliness. Just slip a standard textbox control (which has built-in cursor support) in dialer and apply a constraint for allowed digits (0-9, - * # + and parenthesis) before GDR3's/Bittersweet shimmer's general availability. :)
