We bought Expression Web 3 and we noticed that Expression Encoder 3 is dropping video frames while encoding for Silverlight VBR1080p (perhaps also for other profiles).

Unfortunately the Encoder 3 Pro shipped with Web 3 isn't eligible for a free upgrade to v4 Pro. So your choices would be to either use the free v4 or purchase v4 Pro at the moment.

It's likely that you have differeent codecs enabled between your v3 Pro and free v4 install that would explain the difference in behavior. I would start my investigation there.
