I am currently trying to create a monthly task list in MS Project which contains a number of recurring tasks. The majority of the tasks are associated with an accounting timetable focussed around our month end i.e. working day 10, working day -4 etc. of each month.

Project's working day calendars can be customized to provide for custom work weeks, custom working hours, and non-working days (e.g. holidays), but they cannot be customized to create accounting month calendars (e.g. 4-4-5 sequence). Note: I do not use Project Server but I understand that it can create accounting month reports.
