My company just hired a new developer, but my boss asked me if they can only see certain solutions instead of all of our solutions?

A second follow up question, and this may be a Git question, or maybe it is a Team Services question:

Is it possible to control which solutions are added and synced instead of just adding all solutions under the root.

If the solutions aren’t related to each other at all, normally they’d be placed in different VSTS/TFS projects and in different Git repositories. Personal and work projects would normally be separated in the same way.
