I have a WPF application in Blend.

In the application I want to have a listbox on the right side that lists words.

The Blend help document has such instruction titled "Create a list-details data binding"

In brief, you may use the list and detail mode to do that:
Simply drag the list of datasource and drop to the listbox, Blend would set the databinding for you,
Then click on the "Details Mode" button, drag the word from datapane and drop to artboard, Blend would generate the binding.
