I am creating a tabs menu box.  There are only certain areas of this box that I want to apply a stroke to. Just picture a square...I want a stroke on the left, right and bottom, but not on the top.  Can anyone tell me how to apply a stroke to just these three areas?  Any help would be appreciated.

If the side you want borderless is a straight line, like in your example a rectangle, you can make the whole rectangle as normal, then you can cut with the scissor tool the unwanted side and once it is separated you can delete it. Or you can draw a three sided polyline in the first place. Hold down the shift key while you click the polyline nodes to have them precisely at 90°.
