I have followed the Google Calendar API instructions, have a project setup on Google Developers Console, and obtained my secret authorization codes.  I have been stuck on what to do next to start VB.net coding in VStudio to add events to a Google public calendar.

This API and docs are the worst.  Different than any other API I have used in the last 10 years, all of which simply required downloading the relevant dll files.
