SharePoint 2013 runs well without any noticeable performance issues, however I noticed that when I create a site, whether it is on the main level or subsite level, it spins for about 2 minutes.

1. I create the subsite. The page changes and notifies me that the site is being created.

During these 2 minutes, the entire site collection spins. I can't load any pages. After ~2 minutes, the site loads again and everything is back up to speed without problems.
