I've got an app that gets deployed by ClickOnce, and it has worked successfully in the past. However, the client has upgraded all machines (from PC's to thin Clients and all new servers as well)

The app is deployed on one of the servers on their network (for ease of access) and then installed on all the virtual machines for the thin clients. The installation works fine, all the files gets copied and put under C:\users\[username]\AppData\2.0 etc, and the shortcuts gets created in the start menu and on the desktop as per usual. However, when running the application it throws the "Stopped Working" error message out.

If I run the application from the install location, it works fine, no hassles whatsoever. But not from the .appref-ms file (which checks for updates)

Do the users have access to the server where the updates are hosted? Do they have general privileges, or are the desktops being clamped down more than usual? It almost sounds like they don't have access to the ClickOnce engine.
