I am looking on some guidance on how to trouble shoot an Issue I am having with LightSwitch.  I was able to trouble it shoot it down to a call to the /DesktopClient/Web/Microsoft-LightSwitch-Security-ServerGenerated-Implementation-AuthenticationService.svc/binary/GetAuthenticationInfo returing a HTTP Status Code of 500 when running https.  When I run http I recieve a 401 and then it authenticates NTML and returns a 200.  I can execute the request via Internet Explorer using https and it returns a Status Code of 200.

That 401 means the credentials being presented to access the resource are invalid and access is being denied. The 500 got thrown just on a general purpose, because the 401 hit first, the solution crashed on the Web server and the Web server through the 500.

You need to find out what credentials are being presented at the time of the 401. If you have control of the Web server, then you can enable the O/S's Logon Audit logging for logon success or failure,  and it will tell what the credentials are that are being rejected.
