i have a component screen in a sketchflow application. In that component screen i have a hyper link.
Is it possible to switch states in my screen where my component screen is hosted by pressing the hyper link( or button) in my component screen?

Yes, this is possible.  You will have to add an activatestate behavior and enter the screen and state targets in the property panel.

Here is what I did to make it work:

1. On Screen 1, I created a state group, with 2 states named "Red" and "Blue".
2. I dragged out a composition screen from Screen 1
3. On Screen 2, I drew a button, and added a ActivateStateAction behavior to it
4. I selected the behavior in the timeline panel
5. In the properties panel, I set the TargetScreen property to "SilverlightPrototype2Screens.Screen_1" (yours would have to have the correct namespace for your project)
6. In the properties panel, I set the TargetState to "Red"
