In my case the "calendar added" are the Rooms' name instead of the nations.  Creating the calendar overlay, for my rooms, the limit is 10, but I need to configure 17 rooms.... How can I increase the nr. of the calendar overlay? Maybe there is an other solutions that is better: https://www.sharepointsapiens.com/blog/use-dropdown-select-location-event/

It is not possible (above is 2010, but same is true for 2013). If you'd like to do this, you could use a JavaScript calendar and pull in the data via REST, but that will require code.
