I was signing in fine, now the process is broken. I can sign into Azure's online portal and Office 365's online portal, but VS2017 will not let me sign in. This is what it does:

It starts by asking me to sign into my account with my email, which it sees (the new email,) then asks me for my password, then, when I enter my password (the same one that I use for all other MS products,)  says "one moment" for a bit, and goes right back to the first signin screen.

Uninstalled and reinstalled VS2017 (a nice 2 hour experience.) Works now.
