Until quite recently, clicking that button worked as I intended; the database closed and Access closed. Now, though, only the database closes, leaving Access running. What's more, Access doesn't close when I click the Close button (X) in the Access title bar or when, in the Ribbon's file tab, I click Exit. The only way I seem to be able to close Access is to use the Windows Task Manager.

There was a recent update bug that has since been fixed. you may need to run updates again. When you do be sure to reboot your PC.
