I am trying to load a .sln file created by someone holding my position before prior to me working on this project. The file is open in VS 2010 but not as a solution but just a file for editing and thus has no build options available for the solution. I open the same WEOT.sln file from a year ago and it load fine with the build options available so I suspect that something is wrong with the file. Any suggestions on correcting or rebuilding the solution file?  2 images attached.

The most probably reason of not loading the solution may be because of the version incompatibility of the version of Visual Studio you are using and the one by which the solution (you are trying to load) was built. For example - You may be using the VS 2010 And the solution was built using VS 2008.
