I have been learning wp8 development for a long time in my windows 8 machine using the sdk. Now that the WP8.1 is released, I tried to update the sdk but the update fails saying that it is meant for a newer version of windows. I don't think my system can handle windows 8.1. Is there any alternatives or some extra plugin that I can add to my current sdk, so that it'll reflect the changes? I don't want the Emulator but only a fully functional IDE.
