Hello!

I was tasked with setting up automated routing with automated emails from our sharepoint list. My organization has disallowed the use of designer so I have to use OOTB workflows for this. The basic breakdown is we have multiple columns with the department and review date (ex: HR Review). They put in the date they reviewed and some comments then it's supposed to go to the next person in line for review. I need to set a workflow to trigger once one person has entered their review date to then go to the next. The wrench in the plan is that if something is incorrect, they want the ability to send backwards to someone who previously reviewed for corrections. And they want all of this to email the individuals along the way letting them know the task is assigned to them.

So far I have the workflow set up to email one person when the item is created, and a separate for when the item is changed, but how do I get specific workflows to specific column's?

If the way they have it set up is not possible to do this with, They also said they would be fine with manually typing in the name of the person or distro list of where it needs to go next in a people column. (Ex: Send to Accounting:)

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

If you use out of box workflow, it cannot achieve your requirement to trigger the workflow when the value is changed in the specific column.

You should create workflow in SharePoint designer to achieve your requirement.
