I'm developing a Native C++ game for WP8. I started out making multiple sets of the textures sized for each resolution and just loading the correct set in at load time. This works fine but with only a portion of the textures created, the size appears to be getting too large for this.

I just found some information that seemed to indicate you can use a built in scaler. Should I just load the highest resolution set of images and let the phone scale down?

This is a 2D game and I'm using the SpriteBatch draw functions from the DirectXTK project and didn't see a way to have it scale things down. The images just went off screen.
