I'm having an issue with SharePoint which is affecting several users on our network. 

When opening Office files from SharePoint, the document/file displays correctly on the screen but when the user clicks on the File menu, the application crashes and the following error is logged in event viewer:

Having dealt with MS Support, we have patched, repaired and reinstalled Office to no avail.  All other document stores appear to work ok, it is just a problem with SharePoint files.

Any assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I want to confirm with you that if users open the Office application directly and click on the File menu, is the application still crashed?

 

Please try run Office 2010 repair and check the printer on the computer, if the printers are on the print server, change it to a local printer.
