• I am creating a 2 stage out of office approval workflow. It seems to get stuck on the first stage and never progress to the next, despite the Team Lead (Stage 1) approving the task. It now seems to be looping on the first stage when it's approved. (Sends an email of task being assigned over and over again).
• **Please note, there are 5 team leads and 4 managers -- ONLY ONE team lead and ONE manager must approve. Only the assigned team lead/manager should be getting notification, Not a whole group.
• Does anyone have any tips on what may be happening?

Workflow:

STAGE 1 - Team Lead Approval

1. User inserts request on 'Leave Request' form, and assigns a 'Team Lead' (Stage 1) and 'Manager' (Stage 2) based on their hierarchy. (User will receive email which verifies that request was submitted).

• If current item is a valid sharepoint user > Email the requestor

2. Team Lead (As indicated by requestor) will be assigned a task to approve the leave request.

• If Team Lead equals X > Assign a task to X (Repeats for each team lead with ONE If Else statement)

3. (Transition) If Task outcome equals approved (For each team lead variable), then it will progress to stage 2 (Manager approval)

    ELSE Go to email rejection (Emails user to say their request was declined)

STAGE 2 - Manager Approval

1. Manager (As indicated by requestor) will be assigned a task to approve the leave request.

• If Manager equals Y > Assign a task to Y (Repeats for each Manager with ONE If Else statement)

3. (Transition) If Task outcome equals approved (For each Manager variable), then it will progress to EMAIL confirmation

    ELSE Go to email rejection (Emails user to say their request was declined)

** Email approval and Email Rejection are separate stages.
