I'm using Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise.

Recently, suddenly, historical debugging started to show up whenever I run debugger.

Of course, there's a button which I can come back to Live debugging. If I press this button, Visual Studio displays and focuses on 'catch (Exception)' context. And then, If I double-click the line 'Exception thrown' in the Event tab of IntelliTrace, Visual Studio displays and focuses on the line which has thrown the Exception but automatically it go back to Historical debugging.

I feel uncomfortable because I cannot see values of variables, parameters and check whether object is null or not..

According to the document for historical debugging when using IntelliTrace feature in Visual Studio 2015, we need to select the IntelliTrace events and call information option from Tools / Options / IntelliTrace / General page.

So if you don't want to use historical debugging, you could uncheck the "IntelliTrace event and call information" option. Please check "IntelliTrace events only" option instead.
