I clicked the "Download Visual Studio 2015 with Update 3" under the Download Visual Studio 2015 of first tab - Visual Studio 2015.
In the middle of downloading, I got this error message:
"A setup package is either missing or damaged" with the following 3 radio button options:
---------------------------------------------
Download package from the internetSkip package
Please provide a location to search for the package : (this option is selected by default)
---------------------------------------------
I tried to choose Download package from the internet, same error. I think I can not choose the second option - Skip package.
I googled to find any solution, but nothing is working.
Does anybody have the same error? any solutions?

Sounds like that you installed VS by using Web installer, it leads that some setup packages are missing or corrupted. Recommend you download a VS 2015 With Update 3 ISO to repair your VS first. Use FCIV to verify the SHA-1 to ensure the ISO is not corrupted.

On my side, I downloaded .NET Core 1.0.1 Tools Preview 2,then the .NET Core projects show smoothly:
If after the ISO repair, the issue still persists, you'd better use http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the installation logs. find vslogs.zip from %temp% folder. Please upload the file to Onedrive and share the link here. I will help you find the root cause according to the log file.
