Hi forum,

We have developed some image capture functionality in a winforms app on an XP based machine.

When we install the app on a Windows 7 machine it throws a com excpetion because a file that is in System32 on xp called wiascr.dll is not on the Windows 7 machine.

I modified the installer to add this file and register it and now it no longer throws any exceptions, but does not find any devices.

Are there changes between implemtation/development of WIA functionality in Windows 7 and XP?

An sample code for WIA Windows 7 development may be useful.
