im new to azure and am exploring development, I have an msdn subscription and have activated my account. Ive setup an app , resource and database in the portal. I selected the 'open in visual studio' option for the database (I have vs2015 professional) but I get this error

I did a research for the error message you offered. And I found some other member has encountered the same problem and solved by removing %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\ComponentModelCache and restart Visual Studio.
