As far as I know this depends on the HTTP Headers (called 'X-Forwarded-For') that the Foritgate FW will send.
For the FortiOS 6.0 for instance you'll see:
"set http-ip-header {enable | disable}   For HTTP multiplexing, enable to add the original client IP address in the XForwarded-For HTTP header"
