Im trying to enable commenting and rating on a list item in SharePoint 2013. Rating can be enabled easily by going in Rating Setting under Library Setting but i cant figure out a way to enable commenting on list/library item.  Makes me wonder if this is even possible in SharePoint 2013.

I have not seen comments either. Like you said, ratings and likes is easy enough but I have not seen or can find any comment function.
Add a column and edit that property?
