First of all i don't know if i am posting my question in the right category.  I apologize if not. I actually know very little about computers so any help would be great! My computer is relatively new (about a year old) but its getting really slow!  I think i have some sort of virus.  I read up on some things you should do (just on a blog called pc virus protection )  It suggested free AVG antivirus software. Is that a good place to start? or is that just to prevent future problems?  I have something like "norton" installed already i think...
