I have a Inspiron 1501 with vista home premium, and have started getting the following error message on start up:  Warning:  The battery cannot be identified this system will be unable to charge this battery.  However, the battery works fine, and the system is charging it like normal.  This has been going on for about three weeks, after my last major updates to windows were loaded.  I tried going back to a restore point, it made no difference.

Any ideas?
