The documentation of Azure Kubernetes Service states that the default limit for the maximal number of nodes per cluster is 100.  Is there a way to increase the default limit, e.g. to 2000 nodes per cluster?

Maximum nodes per cluster default value limit is 100. You can raise support request to increase the quota limit for the AKS cluster.
