I have a folder content type that I created.  I want to edit the input form in infopath.  However I can't find anywhere that lets me do that.  Is this something that's possible?  Please note that I we don't use SP Designer, so that isn't an option.

Per my test, I add several content type to a list, and go to File->SharePoint list->Design Form in InfoPath, in the Data Connection Wizard, we cannot select Folder content type.

The folder content type form cannot be modified in InfoPath. I suggest you using SharePoint Designer/VS to create .aspx page for the form or just adding custom columns to the folder content type.
