I have a form uploaded to a Sharepoint document library that is accessed through a link on the main web page.  The form submits data to a database, and isn't web services compatible, yet every time I try to open the form, it tries to open in web services.  I have the setting under the Document Library advanced settings tab set to open in the client, and the form itself is only client compatible.  What other settings are there that I should check?

I get the error "Retrieval of the form template from the following location is not authorized" when it tries to open in web services, but I'm an administrator of the Sharepoint site.  Any thoughts?

Make sure your url contains parameter DefaultItemOpen =0 and additionally you need to follow steps below to force MOSS to open in Rich Client

• Go to Central Admin Site
• Click ApplicationManagement tab
• Under Infopath Form Service click Configure Infopath Forms Services
• Make sure Render form templates that are browser enabled by user
