I am using VS 2008 SP1Beta1 with SQL Server 2008 RC0. I want to add a Data Source to my project that is a SQL Server 2008 database. I go through the Add New Data Source wizard to the window Save the Connection String to the Application Configuration File. When I click the Next button, I receive the error:

An unexpected error has occurred.

Error Message: Could not load type
'Microsoft.VisualStudio.DataDesign.SyncDesigner.SyncFacade.SyncManager' from assembly
'Microsoft.VisualStudio.DataDesign.SyncDesigner.DslPackage,
Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'.his

This happens whether I use a connection with Windows authentication or with SQL Server authentication and whether or not I want the connection string added to the config file.

I am running under Vista Ultimate SP1 and have the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

Any suggestions?
