Hi,

I have a SSAS tabular cube in Azure Analysis Services.

When defining a column in one of the tables via Visual Studio, I define it as this (decimal number):

But when I connect to the cube through Excel it comes out as format "Standard", and I'm not able to change the number of decimals or anything. This goes for all mye fields (whole number, decimal number, currency and percent).

Were you not able to change the number of decimals or were you not even getting it in decimal format? Please explain further, it is difficult to understand what your issue is. I just tried to import my data from azure analysis service by following this document and I was able to retrieve data with 2 decimal places that I have configured on the designer. I was not bale to reproduce your error.
