Hello fellow coders, am planning to make a really simple download manager that basically allows the user to paste a url and start downloading. The browser should be able to respond to windows events such as shutdown, stand by and logoff by pausing the download and exiting(if the event is shutdown). Am using c# 2010 but I dont know much, ok, I don''t know a single code to enable downloading. The real trick that I need badly is the ability to pause a download at will and launch the app on startup. I''ll be gratefull for any leads on which .net classes to use for downloading and responding to windows events.
