I have a gridview inside a panel control.
I am using ASP.NET 3.5. In my page directive I have set MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback to true.
I have also added the property to my web.config.

However, my gridview is not maintaining its scroll position when I select the gridview "Edit" command.
I am not using the AJAX update panel, just the plain Panel control.

I am truly at a loss for how to proceed with troubleshooting. Any ideas?
