A virus attack has hidden my important documents,
I need help about how to reveal them,
I can only see shortcut link of my folders but a click on any of these links leads to no where.
A check to determine the size of the used and free space on the drive, through property, shows the documents are there in the drive hidden.
I will appreciate any assistance from anybody in the house


My drive: Western Digital my passport Ext HDD (500GB)
My OS: Win 7

I think it is unlikely that a virus has done this...........and you have more than likely clicked something or accidently hit delete. Have you checked the recycle bin?
