I''m not entirely sure of what you''re asking, but I think you''re looking for a way to turn on network connectivity in the Emulator?

What you need to do is in you emulator window select File, Configure..., Network tab and then Enable a network card to be used by your emulator.
This will use one of the network cards of your host box and let the emulator use this. This allows the emulator to connect to the host box using sockets for example or indeed to the internet using the browser on the emulator.
